Sorry about your problems. LDLite statically allocates most of its memory, and currently uses about 60 MB of ram for caches and data. Please run ldlite with debugging output. From the shell prompt, use the command "ldlite -g -l car.dat" and send me (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Hotrodding the firmware

  Problem with my handyboard
 
My handyboard is dead. It happened when I was fooling around with the expansion socket J3 and the LCD socket. I might have induced a short. Thanks again for all the help with the "yacc" error I experienced before. I'm having new code resourcing problems now: mainly a problem with my 1994 version 2.851 interactive c. The same problem exists with 1.1 and 1.5. Look in lugnet.cad.dat for the Touch Sensor and "71427 - The Real Thing". I'm not sure about the carriage return on these posts. I just checked these out on my computer, and the Touch Sensor works just fine, (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad)

  I just can't run LDLite
 
I have a P100 with 80MB of RAM. Only one in 5 tries I manage to run LDLite without exiting in the moment it starts, and not even once I managed to load a model without a Fatal out of memory error. The last version had this problems also, but it run (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad)

On my OS 8.1 Mac 6500 with Appletalk turned off, useing printer port-I used to be able to use IC253 cosole if the P-code was already Downloaded elsewhere. (...) Fred- Thank you for the new version DLoader MCL. I can now indeed load the P- code. Useing this Mac 6500 Apple talk off-printer port-I am still finding odd things-very odd things. Hey, one program is all you need, right? :) NT seems to be much better in this regard, as it does not commit memory pages until the program actually touches them, which means I can reserve large cache areas and suffer little penalty if they are not (...) (26 years ago, 3-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
