RE: O'Reilly Mindstorms book [was RE: Memory]

(...) A chapter or two on inter-RCX communication would go down a treat. "extend your RCX's IO capabilities by buying another of the suckers" This could extend to a whole range of books "The ultimate guide to Town Jr" with chapters like How to (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Another IC error: "Out of memory"

it might not be permanently dead, but if it's not, it's not working. one (or more) of the outputs of these two chips is probably shorted to ground or shorted to +5v. the chips get hot when they try to drive this output to a state other than the one (...) Good to see that Netscape is continuing with its tradition of providing the same level of garbage as Microsoft, while getting to be thought of as the picked-on underdog hero with a great product in the little browser war... (...) Ack, what am I smoking? I'm looking at the wrong number. 30M is the non- swapped-out portion. The real size is actually up there around 80M, and slowly climbing. Now 90M. :-/ Well, at least it's less bad now, even if it's still pretty bad. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
