RE: 8450 Mission / Cybermaster expansion

If ON/OFF isn't to work while programs run, it has to be this: if(nb_tasks<=3) { killall(PRIO_HIGHEST); return 0; // killall doesn't kill self } break; What does standard firmware do? (...)   A few questions on NQC vs. VB

Hi all. I've been lurking in the shadows reading posts for a couple of weeks and now have a question of my own. I'd like to move beyond the programming capabilities of the RIS software and am trying to decide which way to go. I have VERY little (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  controlling RCX from PC?!

all, i have a little program that controls the RCX from the PC. i know other people here have done that, so... my major problem is that signal round trip time is very high - it takes about 200 - 250 ms to send ONE command to the RCX (waiting for the (...)   Re: idea for firmware development

IMO, pbForth is one of the most ready platform to implement such an emulation on top of it. Implementation could be easy, compact and quite extensible. But, do we really need yet another LEGO firmware? ;) Sergey (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Hi, I am currently working on a Java API for the RCX based on LEGO's firmware. It is basically a model of the RCX with LEGO's firmware, that is, the instruction set described by Kekoa Proudfoot in his RCX Internals. The basics (instruction (...)
