| I can say with assurance that the firmware that shipped with my RIS 2.0 does indeed brake fully no matter what the power. | The low buzz tone is an error generated by the ROM firmware for failure condition detected as part of the "unlock firmware" opcode. There are two causes of this. | Did anyone know the size of the firmware (firm0309.lgo) once downloaded in the RCX? The file size says 45 kbytes, but the display on the RCX shows 1700. these two numbers do not match, which one is the correct one? and is 1700 expressed in byte? (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
