Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

Thanks Jeroen, If we get any Bulk Order results from TLG, I'll name a street in my Lego town after you (Jeroen Avenue?). I think that you may be right. Maybe we should skip Mr. Eio (USA President), and go directly to the top, KKK. I have printed the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Discovered Unknown LEGO Set from Norway...

Two days ago a LEGO friend from Norway by the name of Arild found a never before been seen set from Norway... the 1309 ESSO GARAGE SET... not to be confused with the 1310/310 ESSO SERVICE STATION SET. This very rare (only 1 known so far) set was (...) (11 years ago, 13-Apr-14, to lugnet.general)

I vaguely remember what you're talking about. Now I'm gonna have to go back and check all my old fat rounds. That would account for a 3rd type. That's great! Thanks! Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

OK folks, Here's some updates to creating the "LETTER" about bulk sales. 1) Send it to KKK (not Peter Eio) and Jeroen will forward a copy to each member of the Executive Team. We will have to coordinate this so that KKK (mailed) receipt of the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Hey Jeff, Congratulations! (It's a slow day on the net today.....). When I was your age (Nixon was President in his last full year before getting the boot), I was in the 6th year of my dark ages. (...) There are lots of AFOLs out there with those yellow arches (1x4x1, 1x6x2, 1x8x2). Or try eBay. Arches are often available there as well. Or go to Lugnet.Buy/Sell/Trade and you should be able to get those arches relatively inexpensively. Now (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Hey Rob, I just recently got a set 283 "Sloping Ridge and Valley Bricks" in Blue service pack from the 1958-67 era, which is in the Lugnet Database. It has the following:. Now that the 1309 set has been discovered, there is still one set yet to be discovered... a 1237 "Garage Side Building Set". The Billund Archives have no information on this set, and it was obviously not produced there for the Danish market. But it (...) (11 years ago, 14-Apr-14, to lugnet.general)

OPPPSS.... BROKEN LINK.... SO HERE'S THE POST INSTEAD.... ;-) I had seen a catalog entry in an old 1956 Norway catalog, but I wasn't sure if was (common in old LEGO catalogs) an error, or a real set, since one had never been seen before, and no (...) (11 years ago, 14-Apr-14, to lugnet.general)

Thanks Mark, I started that RTL thread about 7 months ago. And it was due to that 277 Fireplace set, whcih has 9 minifig heads (4 black, 5 red). And all of them are in the old "Type 1" minifig head style (no hole in top). It is interesting to note (...) (25 years ago, 12-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

What are the most valuable Service Packs?

It's been a dull week on the net....... Someone recently asked me which service/parts pack was the most valuable. I had to really think about that one for a while.
