Robert, You give up too easily!
There are lots of AFOLs out there with those yellow arches (1x4x1, 1x6x2, 1x8x2).
Or try eBay. Arches are often available there as well.
Or go to Lugnet.Buy/Sell/Trade and you should be able to get those arches
relatively inexpensively. Now if you were in need of some of those yellow extreme
sloped bricks (especially the corner bricks), that would be another story. Those
are the real rarities from that set.
