| | Internation Building Idea Book #1 - 1960-67.
| This is a reprint from RTL - Gary Istok. (...) was available from about 1960-67 in several different versions. I notice that yours is in Swedish (I assume). I have a complete (mint) copy of this book in German, as well as a few pages from an (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

| (...) You're right. I have about 200 of the older grey road plates (the 1980's ones without the sidwalk/bikepath. They really are better suited to the classic scale LEGO town. Interestingly enough, the roadway width is about the same as the 1960's (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

| | Re: Why lego should not makeso many new colors
| I sort of disagree on the topic of too many LEGO colors. When I was a child (in the early 1960's), the LEGO colors available were red, white, blue, yellow and black. Now they have in addition to those colors, grey (mid 60's), dark grey, tan, green, (...) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

| | Re: Dear Lego, please make this sign be true.
| (...) OK, here's the scoop. From what I can gather the light blue was from a promotional set made for Denmark's national airline (circa 1980) whose name I cannot remember (Muersten or something starting with an "M"). Once TLG uses a color somewhere (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

| | Sharing Information for Profit.
| (...) Ya know, in the last 6 months I've shared a lot of information about my knowledge of LEGO, most of which is the 60's and 70's stuff that is not at all well documented. However, sometimes I'll share info about sloped bricks, windows & doors, (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.auction)

| | Re: Architect sets
| Thomas, I think you might be confusing 1/3 scale with the 1/3 height of Lego plates. These sets consist of regular Lego "plates" (1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4). That is, I should add, the parts packs consist only of these pieces. Since I've only seen the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)

| | The TOWN PLAN set of the early 1960's
| I've mentioned the TOWN PLAN set of 1961-65 on many occasions. I was under the impression that it was only available by Samsonite (USA/Canada), whereas the Europeans had to buy the individual buildings (Esso Service, Garage, Church, etc) and the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)
