Right vs. Left hand doors are another interesting LEGO variation (like the
classic window "sill" vs. "sill-less" varieties).  I know that with the Classic
Doors (3 bricks high), the 3 colors they come in are red, white, yellow.  Of
these I have both left and right hand doors in red and white, but not in yellow
(I have to check which ones the yellow doors are at home).  If memory serves me
correct, the 4 brick high door from the 1970's were interchangeable  -  you
could put the door into the doorframe in either direction (this was a 2 piece
door).

Now with the modern 5 brick high LEGO door, I assume that all of the 4 window
variety and the doors with the vertical bars are all the same type?  Only the
clear window variety door has a left and right hand doors -  is that right?
(Since I only build in the classic LEGO scale, I don't use 4 brick or 5 brick
high doors).

Also, has anyone else noticed that the 1970's era 4 brick high doors look much
more like a window, rather than a door?  I've used them as such.  But I really
don't much care for them (architecturally speaking).

Hey, you missed the most interesting part: Unlike the non-barred version
of this door, it's almost always come in only a right-hand variety, but
the yellow one in 6391 is a unique LEFT handed copy!

Available in red too, again from the shop at home set number 5149 "Doors and
Windows".  The set comes with a right hand and a left hand glass door, a
barred glass door, and the standard four window door, as well as various
windows (one of my favourite sets, being a town fan).
