Rarest Lego set ever, the 1958 Dealer Window Box, on ebay soon???

It seems as though the great train layout has caused a wreck, which can only be alleviated by trimming down my collection. I am forced to sell many choice sets in the near (next 2-4 weeks) future. These will include the prize of my collection, the (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Minitalia

(...) I too am not sure about Minitalia's original date, but they were around as early as 1972, if not earlier. But there are a few things that I think that LEGO used in Minitalia that later became common in regular LEGO. One is the 1x4x3 window. (...)   Some New Town Windows (like Minitalia) would be nice!

Dear Lego Direct, Here is a reprint of a thread (from LUGNET.GENERAL) on Minitalia, the LEGO sub-brand from Italy in the 1970's (and 1980's?). LEGO made some neat Minitalia windows (only sold in Italy) that would be great in the North American (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: LARGEST LEGO LOT ON EBAY EVER!! (???)

Ya know, I always wondered about what it would be like to put up my entire collection up for auction. 650-700K pieces (100K from before 1980). But then what would anyone want with all that old crap?? ;-) Gary Istok (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

These go back to the earliest varieties from 1957 all the way to the most recent. And I don't have a single one that (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Relax, this picture is from 1963. They are from the Architectural Series parts packs from 1963-65 (#518, 519, 520, 521), a short lived, but not very successful series. In fact I took this very picture, and it got passed around. :-) Gary Istok (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
