Thanks Jim, I'm saving that as a bookmark. It is interesting to see how many
interesting colors LEGO was produced in the early 1950's. Also the old
pre-classic LEGO windows are interesting (can't use this in our constructions
today, no slots in the bricks!). Funny how by 1956 they dumped all the other
colors for predominantly red and white (with some blue and yellow). We do
need to get something together to show the different LEGO fonts since 1956
(when they started with the logo on top of the brick studs). The early
European and Samsonite fonts are really interesting. Then by the mid 60's
they developed the modern font, not much different that that used today. It
is rather strange finding some of the modern font pieces in Cellulose Acetate
(Samsonite).
