Re: Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's

(...) Thanks Manfred! Unfortunately the LEGO CD Chapter 12 - Promotional Sets only went to 1982. This set is a 1983 set in the Netherlands, but now that I look at my notes, it was a 1980 set in Britain, and should have been included. By the way the (...)   Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's

Many of you probably find LEGO country flags (with stickers) mixed in with miscellaneous LEGO lots. Did you ever wonder just where they all originated from? Dave Shifflett of California brought this British EBAY auction item to my attention (...) (18 years ago, 4-Feb-07, to lugnet.general)

(...) Willy, I purchased the #939 in Germany about 20 years ago, but unfortunately used all the country stickers and attached them to flags. All that is except for the LEGO Sticker, which is still attached to the sticker sheet. That's why I only (...) (18 years ago, 5-Feb-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Rare American Wave Flags

I posted this on the Bricklink forum, but I thought it would be appropriate to post here as well, even though about 8 months ago I posted something on American wave flags. Enjoy! (...) Hi Willy, Yes, those 6 stickers match up to the "004159" sticker sheet. I can tell because the sticker sheet has the colors around the edges where the stickers used to be (except for the Japanese sticker, which has a white background and just (...)   Re: Looking for LEGO instruction CDs we can sell in our store.

(...) In defense of Michael, his suburban Toronto LEGO store (Lasting Toys Inc., a real store, not an online store) is the first toy store that is selling my LEGO CD retail. Cheers, Gay istok (18 years ago, 7-Feb-07, to lugnet.build)

Rarest LEGO Parts from the 1950's

Most LEGO parts of the 1950's are relatively obscure for modern LEGO collectors. During the first half of the 1950's LEGO was only sold in Denmark (1949), Sweden (for a short time in 1950, but reintroduced in 1955), and Norway (1953). Lego started (...)   Re: Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's

Thanks Manfred, So Unilever is the company for the #1592 sets of Britain (1980) and Netherlands (1983). That makes perfect sense, since they (like Royal/DutchShell) are a British/Dutch company. Funny thing is I use LEVER 2000, their brand of soap! (...) (18 years ago, 8-Feb-07, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  1981 German LEGO Train Poster

I have this German 1981 LEGO Train System poster that shows the #7725, #7740 and #7750 trains. I was looking all over Peeron and Bricklink, and I cannot find it anywhere.
