Re: I miss the old LUGNET...

(...) I don't want to talk for anybody else, nor do I want to add too much commentary on a situation. However, I can understand the situation. To expect a return of the old Lugnet is largely impossible, since Todd has decided to take a more "passive (...) (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Small annoyance with seller

I think this is a tricky situation. It basically comes down to his opinion vs. your opinion. I think that if the items were close to the condition he had described then the seller should not have to pay for shipping. If they were clearly not in the (...)   RE: Any interest in an RCX simulator?

(...) It's in the standard gdb distribution, Matt Cross posted instructions on how to use it a long time ago, here's a copy: Hi disassemblers, I've found something very useful - gdb has a built-in simulator for the h8/300!   Re: Anti-Semitism and Anti-Americanism

This article certainly has some reason on its side, yet I can't help but suspect its goal is to preserve US support for Zionism. We in Germany are pretty well aware of the fact that it is almost impossible to reason against the "less wise" portions (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) I think that the author may have a bit of an under-siege mentality, but I found at least one of his points very important. There have been, as the author pointed out, a lot of condescending statments such as "You realize why they hate you, (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

There's a load of reactions here already, so I'll keep it short. I't very hard to give an overall verdict on replacement parts. I mean, almost invisible changes, like the minifig heads, would be hard to object to. In fact, even the 2x4 basic brick (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Thanks for the information. We started with the mathematical approach, but this seems to be extremely complex and not too useful for a reliable design with LEGO-Technic and the RCX.
