  Re: *** LDView Version 3.0 RC 1 Released ***

(...) Thanks for the report. I actually kind of see it as good news. It validates my use of a public release candidate instead of just going ahead and releasing the official 3.0. There's just so much going on inside the program, that bugs like these (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Programming the RCX

(...) While I've tinkered a tiny bit with alternate firmwares (legOS and the Swan firmware) I almost exclusively use NQC. Considering the types of robots you're likely to build, there really are few situations where you need more power and speed (...) (18 years ago, 12-Apr-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  A Power-Functions Remote-Controlled Car

I uploaded a video (with some stills in it) of a Power-Functions remote controlled car. It uses a dual-differential drive so that it can go straight well. (The video also shows stills of an earlier version that used a more conventional steering; but (...) (17 years ago, 22-Dec-07, to lugnet.technic)

I raised this issue in a previous post when commenting on this set which I'd purchased: (URL) the picture, the front wheels are shown turned to the left, which is physically impossible as they are fixed on the model.   LEGO STAR WARS Videogame modding / skinning

Just a heads up for those of you who would like to get a bit more gameplay out of LEGO Star Wars (PC version only) There are 4 or 5 game modders (myself included) showcasing what we've managed in this fbtb.net thread (URL) There are many more (...)
