  Re: Longest train?

(...) What about the real ones with mid train helpers? CP Coal trains in the rockies used to (don't know if they do any more) get 12 3000 HP engines, 4 front, 4 mid, 4 end. They even had a big pileup from a little mistake that they made (and you (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

Hmmm...as an expatriate Michigander (or has it changed to Michiganian now, as Gary suggests?), I could go for Michigan as well--and Kalamazoo would suit me fine, too. Seems to me that the bigger outlet malls are near Detroit, though--I wasn't aware (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Then it shouldn't bother you, although I pity you those prices. It does bother me, though. Most companies cut you a break on price when you order large quantities.   Re: Enough already

(...) Well, nothing is "free". I prefer to think of the shipping as "built-in" which is what it is, really.
