Just to let you know that I saw 5571 Model team trucks - 'BLACK CAT' for £55 at McArthur Glen Outlet this weekend and Time Cruisers sets were still on Shelves at Alders of Ilford? (just in case anyone out there wants / likes them?) BTW Has anyone (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Solo 48...

(25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: Possible LEGO swap meet?

Although this message was posted a few months ago, I would be very interested in attending a legofest anywhere in OH Man, I just found Lugnet and it is soooo cool! Michael Huffman wrote in message <3616909A.F2304920@m...ng.com>... (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: Two points for a European Legofest

(...) Speaking of which, I'm going to be (mostly) offline till the 6th of January - my girlfriend is coming over from Toronto and won't tolerate too much geekage :) So please feel free as usual to email me if you'd like to be added etc, but bear in (...)   Silver Armour

I know it's a long shot, but if anyone out there has any extra sets of the silver, Spanish Armada armour pieces, i'd be more than happy to take them off your hands. Thanks, K@RL M@RTINSON Raymart@jam21.net (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.pirates)

  Scans of new Minifigs

Does anyone out there have any scans of the Castle minifigs. Even pictures from the instructions on how to build the minifigs is fine (you know, the first part of the instructions that you see)Please email pics if you have them. Thanks, K@RL (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: CLSOTW voting

(...) The voting facility is a suggestion facility. 9 times out of 10, what gets the most votes is what gets used as that week's pick. Sometimes there are exceptions, like when Bram's LDraw & LEdit tutorial went up as the weekly pick last year (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Cool Y2K set observations

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) God, I certainly hope so. You know, if they'd make for example a lynx-friendly version of your site, they could announce it on slashdot and freshmeat for a hell of a lot of extra traffic. See the recently published study on "the slashdot (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) Nah. Frames are _Evil_. The navigator team should all be shot, hung, drawn, and quartered for <blink>, <img>, and <frameset>. <blink> tag purposely left unclosed for those reading with extremely wonky newsclients. Jasper (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) Correction - it _should_ be. It never is in practice. Java, in my experience, sucks solar masses through bucky tubes. Not to mention it's habit of blue-screening Win9x, and crashing Navigator under linux. And lynx doesn't exactly play well (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Opinions on the 4561

G'Day I also never really liked this set, until I got one (on sale of course!), it does sort of grow on you. I had to LOL at the 'black box' included in the engine (which, yes, does need a lot of reworking. But that's what LEGO is all about, eh?). (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Coasters at the LegoLand parks

Hello, Could anyone tell me which of the LegoLand parks have roller coasters? I know the new one in California has a custom Vekoma Roller Skater, themed in a castle with tire drive lifts... someone had mentioned also that another one of the parks (...) (...) Well... uh, I don't think I am advocating that, nor have I really seen anyone else DO that. I'm sure Brad is an ok guy. I'd like to meet him some day.   CLSOTW voting

First of all I don't want to take anything away from this week's Cool Lego Site of the Week winner. Second of all I don't care if my site gets selected as a future winner. What strikes me odd is why did the unofficial Star Wars design contest win (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: EuroFest Currency?

(...) Although it was an unintentional pun it still reminds me of a good point. Many of the buy-sell-trades at a LEGOFest involve a bit of cash changing hands - what currency could you do that in considering Euros don't exist in the UK and only (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.eu)
