Re: Asked for help with Idea Book

(...) Hi, Daan-- I can tell you what book it's not from--it's not from the US Idea Book #2 (See #222 in the LUGnet set guide). I have a copy of #2; it only went to page 56 or so--and was "signed" (autopenned) by Susan Williams, LEGO US. However, (...) (16 years ago, 22-Mar-09, to lugnet.build)

Re: Chain Precession Drive - Courtesy of TechnicBRICKs

(...) It is indeed a noteworthy invention. Please note, however, that the DAT file linked to from the web page has an error: you need to substitute part 2825.dat (Technic liftarm 1x4 with boss) for the part 32017.dat (Technic liftarm 1x5) that is (...) (16 years ago, 22-Mar-09, to lugnet.technic)

  Brickshelf: server glitch?

Anyone know what's up with Brickshelf? It seems to still have the files (deeplinks are intact), but no folders (so no normal way to access them). Hopefully this is just a glitch, and not something more. (16 years ago, 21-Mar-09, to lugnet.general) !

  Re: Pneumatic elements

(...) You could simply just instruct to inline the compositions - if MLCad only could inline parts! The only ways I know of would be to either - inline them with LDraw Design Pad, which would be kind of tedious in my opinion anyway, or - open the (...) (16 years ago, 21-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Pneumatic elements

I'm trying to create an LDraw description of a construction with a large number of Pneumatic elements. Using complete cylinders (either extended or retracted) or switches (neutral position) will make creating the file very hard and may not always be (...) (16 years ago, 21-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

  LEGO Pirate "Battleship"

I had been working on a project for MegaCon... I've had the idea to do a table-sized version of "Battleship". I wanted it to be sort of microscale, but at the same time, I wanted a player's board to be half a table. As I was building the boards, I (...)
