Re: The Scout brick: smart or dumb? (was: Robotics Discovery Set)

(...) I appreciate the description, but I'm having trouble figuring out how it could possibly (even in the altered reality of marketing) come out to 3000. Based on your description, it appears that the Scout user selects one of four types of motion, (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Is MindStorms suitable for a 14-year old?

(...) It's not advanced electronics. It's easy as long as you follow the constructopedia with models and hints and the programming guide on how to programme your robots. It's not too hard as soon as you have had a Mindstorms set for a week up to a (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: I just finished a makeover of my site....

I used to have descriptions of ADY and GDS along with a story backdrop. They didn't make it to the new site mostly because my girlfriend thought it was too dorky. I'm actually putting together a more detailed storyline that will include links to (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Speaking of McD, when does promotion start?

  Re: New baseplate in 4293?

(...) I don't think this set will have too much effect on the price of 6416 Poolside Paradise for the following reasons: + the 4293 baseplate has a dirt driveway, more suitable for a rural area + the 6416 baseplate has a blue lined pool, the 4293 (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)
