  Re: Maryland & Pennsylvania RR 4-4-0 #6

(...) Thanks. Considering my N&W beat out your Union Pacific GE and Brian Williams Dunn & Duffy Circus train it was quite an honor. Both were excelent MOCs. Cale (URL) (16 years ago, 15-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Maryland & Pennsylvania RR 4-4-0 #6

(...) Thanks. The front truck doesn't support any of the locos weight which isn't prototypical but it works. As I was building #6 I was worried that the lack of truck support and the solid boiler would cause it to be nose heavy. I even had boat (...) (16 years ago, 15-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Still working on my MFHead program. v0.02 now handles double-faced mf heads like this 3626bpsc correctly. Before I officially release the program, I will try to make it handle patterns at the torused parts, like chin and upper forehead. I will (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

That front truck is a masterpiece, does it support any of the weight of the loco or is it held on the track purely by its own weight? Tim (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) I agree, Sets that have story, some potential for action and are geared toward relationships would be ideal for attracting boys and Girls. I think TLG would be wise to look at the Playmobile line to see what kind of sets would meet these (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

(...) I'd agree that kids are less likely to use railways nowadays, but that doesn't mean they have no interest. The thing I think needs to be stressed is that if you ask a group of kids to draw a train, they don't draw diesel haulage locos or (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

LF di Ballabio, impressioni e ringraziamenti

  Re: Motor problem

(...) Hi Magnus, a variety of reasons comes to mind: - Are you using a rechargeable battery? The 9V types of rechargeables sometimes lose power too quickly for such a rather demanding application. - If you let the motor run freely (i.e. without any (...) Hello Magnus, (...) From the symptoms you describe I would say you need "a bigger battery box". Battery boxes (and motors too) contain a current limiting device. It is a resistor whose value increase (a lot) with temperature. When you start your (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.technic)

Great work! I also want to congradulate you on your Norfolk and Western getting elected the best train at BrickWorld. Your trains and rail cars are certainly some of the best that I've seen. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Scott (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I think it is safe to take away from this (and other posts), that everyone wants a representation of themself in the LEGO City. Would a theme that showcases the career with the highest number of people sell the highest number of sets? Scott (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)
