Reading your tutorial made me wonder whether scans of the orignal parts could be vectorized using Inkscape (Inkscape includes an automatic raster-to-vector converter). BUT JUST IMAGINE how Canadians feel with the CAD worth more than the USD, but oru prices are INSANE compared with American prices in USD.
