A Hippo and some Box Cars (More Pennsy MOCs)

Pennsylvania 2-10-0 Decapod and X-54 Box Car. I've had these built for a while now but have been dragging my feet as far as posting them. Some of you may have seen the Decapod and cars at BrickWorld but if not I present them to you now. (URL) \ I1sa (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !

  Re: Copy of MacMegaPov 0.7

(...) For comparison, I rendered m6459.png (picture posted in earlier post) at 640x480, and the times were as follows (all on an original MacBook 2GHz). Intel (command line-only) compile: Time For Trace: 0 hours 0 minutes 2.0 seconds (2 seconds) (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) What's the story with this? Sounds like they're passing up some very cheap, very targeted advertising opportunities there. Allister (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Copy of MacMegaPov 0.7

(...) Sorry. I used the command line unzip (on my Macbook) to unzip the file, and that toasted the contents. Apparently the resource fork didn't extract properly. Using a different unzipper solved the problem. --Travis (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Well, community members have been repeatedly raising all the other issues on the list... So, should we ignore them and put saving 9V trains to number 1 regardless of what community members are actually bringing to our attention and asking us (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I guess I just expected that the ambassadors would make it their job to know what the top issues are for the LEGO community without us having to nag them. (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Excellent idea friend. (...) In my opinion this "issues" list *is* a wish list as it is a list of the things the AFOL community would like Lego to correct. However I am a little dissapointed in this list as it is all complaints. Not that I (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I'm kind of surprised at the level of discussion about this list - although not too surprised, I guess, this being Lugnet. But I would've expected this amount of disagreement about the first such "issues list" presented to TLG by the (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Of course not *all* fans share *all* the concerns. I assume(d) noone would have even expected a list with such criteria, since such a list would be clearly empty - for each and every concern I am quite positive there is a fair amount of people (...)   7998 Heavy Hauler (Classic Truck) half price in Argos

Lego UK price £34.99 / Argos price £17.49 - this is the standard price for the catalogue that runs to the end of this year... Argos catalogue reference 387/0983 ...and I've just seen that Huw posted this on Brickset on Jul 28... I wonder if this (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Not at all. I'm merely just speaking for myself. The 'issue' list supposedly represents fans concerns. I'm just pointing out that maybe not all fans, certainly not this one, share those concerns. I'm not asking for the list to be edited, if (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Trains at Merrist Wood

Hi All, I've put together a load of my video clips from this year's Merrist Wood Summer Show (Guildford, Surrey, UK) which was held on the 20th of May. The clips were of the joint layout by myself and Ben Rogers. Ben's trains were Thomas the Tank (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, FTX)

A Better Robo-Arm With Mindstorms Old And New

Hello everyone. Here is my better robo-arm. It's meant to be an improvement on the "56-C" arm which is on the official NXT CD. A movie of the BetterArm (I hope it works)...   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) The first two issues are the main problems in my mind and deserve their place. I think TLG has many top notch set designs these days, but this is the first time I've ever seen questionable manufacturing quality from them. I have gotten a lot (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I find a modicum of comfort in knowing that even LEGO acknowledges that the RC trains have load problems: (URL) that they recommend the RC trains only run the number of wagons the sets come with (2 on the passenger, 4 on the cargo train). That (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

(...) Yes. There are about 130,000 images that were linked to Brickshelf from all the pages on MOCpages. I've now copied all 130,000 of them over to MOCpages and they'll be linked to your pages very soon. This applies to all the images that were (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

  NMRA Pics

Looks like it was the best yet, from the pics I have seen on BS. The thing that really stands out for me is the amazing increase in great individual train vehicle models. Just to pick on a few, in no particular order Nice use of parts for these (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Copy of MacMegaPov 0.7

(...) The version I posted does not require Classic. It's an old CFM Carbon program (not Mach-O) that can run natively under both OS 8/9 and OS X. It is PowerPC though, so on an Intel Mac, it gets emulated via Rosetta. (But I suspect it runs faster (...) (17 years ago, 28-Jul-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)
