  4x4 Tic Tac Toe...

Well, I'm not really into this 3T concept because of two things: a) Deterministic b) Done before Not to say for b) we've done everything original, but in general I'd like to keep the flavour in that direction. So...I was chatting with John... and (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto 2006 shirts

(...) Yes! (...) I love how this is different, and would love to see the two-tone grey of shading in the pieces. I think it would look fantastic, sort of "colorized" or whatever that term is for when you take a picture and reduce it to like 16 (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Looking for a G. Braken

Just wondering if anyone in QLD knows of a G. Braken...I and 7 other people have been trying to contact him (her?) about some items paid for but never received...and not getting any replies. If anyone knows of a person going by this name, and (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri)

Re: Screw Steve's balls, was Re: Sucking Steve's balls -

(...) On one hand, I think using the soccer/basketballs would be really cool. It opens up different EOAT possibilities: you could use a pick-and-place mechanism with a gripper, or simply a magazine. However cool Iain's mechanism is, I seriously (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto 2006 shirts

(...) Yes, for up to $20. (...) I like the solid 3D look - different from the originals,. Would prefer the same old Blue color... or maybe black? John (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Sucking Steve's balls -

(...) Snipped details. Hey that is very cool! Watching this, gave me an idea, (totally unrelated to "tic tac toe")... but remember when we were at the hobby show, and you and I saw those plastic toys where the animal with a magnet goes down (via (...) (...) I need to be convinced that gray on gray is actually going to look like something. (...) Yes. (...) I like the two colour look. I like that it's different from the old shirt. (...) Derek (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Redscout and Space (Lamborghini) Countach

(...) Hi, I really like this one, too bad it cannot carry anyone besides the driver/pilot. Regards, Florian (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim)

  Re: rtlToronto 2006 shirts

(...) I'll buy one for 20 bucks. (...) Lineart. With dimensions if you can. The old shirt is great. Hell, I'd pay another 20 bucks for a new old style shirt. (...) And I'd buy one in a muted orange like the skate kids wear these days. Ralph (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Screw Steve's balls, was Re: Sucking Steve's balls -

(...) What in the love of god is this fascination with Steve's balls?! Other than the obvious? They're hard to grab. Even Steve used these 4x4 blocks for his own 3T game. The suction cup looks finicky. It's one of those systems that is hard to (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto 2006 shirts

Hello to the peoples. Snap Snap Snap. This is the new shirt design for 2006: (URL) majority of them will be on dark solid grey, not on orange. Unusual colours can be ordered though. Question for you to follow up this post on: -Would you buy one of (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Redscout and Space (Lamborghini) Countach

On the occasion of me getting (buying) posting rights to lugnet back, I felt like presenting a couple of my newest mocs for you guys too (they've been presented at CSF a while ago). They're both based on concept art and minifig scale. The Redscout (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX) !!

  Sucking Steve's balls -

In another thread Derek implied that if we used the soccer balls that Steve has distributed to the Lego community, then robots built for r22 and a Tic Tac Toe game would only have one solution. "... I'm not a big fan of the soccer ball marker idea. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Thank YOU for making that great tutorial Geoff I'm sure we're many that has really been needing that for a long time: Personally I tried to assemble the bits and pieces strewn across lugnet and brickshelf to get the kind of renderings I've (...)   Re: Our the R-games too hard?

(...) Well, if you make them easier in terms of more defined, I'm not sure that would be good. It would make things easier, and perhaps for first time builders it would be good... ...but then you wouldn't see different strategies. If say the rope (...)   Re: Our the R-games too hard?

I find it hard to get excited about games like tug of war. But then I've never done well with free roaming robots. Given the number of games we played on the Tug of War afternoon I don't think we had a problem with the games needing to run smoother. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Our the R-games too hard?

Do we make the games to hard? If we had a simpler "less" complex game would the games run smother? I dont mean a "simple" game. As an example, I mean, something like tug of war, BUT not with the free rope part. Chris (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Rims of the Ferrari 8:1 (8674)

Hello to you all, Have you noticed the strange coloring of the rims of the 8674 Ferari race car? The rims are stone gray or blueish light gray. The outer side, which you see when looking at the wheel does have an aluminium colored paint. the inside (...) (20 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.color)
