  Re: rtl21 ideas

(...) <snip> The more I think about it, the more I'm drawn to this idea. As Janey stated, you can have as complex 'bot as you want--if you can get your block to pick up 1 'card' only, then you can enter with the hopes that everyone else busts--kinda (...)   Re: So, who IS in the MDP?

(...) Mike, you pretty much hit the nail on the head with this post, thanks. I do believe its worth the added effort to email all those who applied. Besides, not all the applications had gmail or yahoo accounts. So far, I'm slightly peeved at this (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  PennLUG in the paper

Recently PennLUG was contacted by the York Dispatch newspaper to do an article on the LUG and on the hobby in general. We haven't seen the article yet ourselves but they asked a lot of questions and took a lot of pictures so we hope it will be an (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.us.pa)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) Hi Peter, I agree my comment was rude and had it not been 2am for me when I wrote it I probably wouldn't have posted it but I will stand by the point because it was in response to something that was extremely rude. You have said much the same (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

  Re: exo force

Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) Tim I thought those comments were a wee bit harsh mate as I too thought the $50 rego was a little extreme. We (BLTG) had a disscussion this weekend while we were at a train show at Sandgate and we came up with the figures of about $1000 plus (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Introducing Your Cycle 3 LEGO Ambassadors

(...) Only for quite mind-boogling definitions of the term "globe". Ambassador-wise, half the globe is the US. Which might represent certain egos, but certainly not reality... Yours, Christian (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.lego)

  rtl21 ideas

So... ...the next big topic is rtl21: What to Do. Let's recap some of the ideas from dinner: a) Blackjack concept from Janey (I mean...from Chris!) Drive around or use a shared environment and pick up encoded elements, teaching RCX to "gamble" such (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Train Motor dilema

Please forgive an old castle-head/train novice if this question is dumb, I'm new at this. This past weekend, TexLUG put on a modest (for other train lugs, sizeable for us) display, seen here: (URL) finding out that my Santa Fe engine and cars all (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: State Courthouse, Columbus OH

(...) Very nice Paul!!! It's nice to see I'm not the only one who builds in the classic Lego scale (doors=3 bricks tall, windows=2 or 3 bricks tall). Now what you need to do is to build Columbus's Leveque-Lincoln Tower, a 1926 55 story Art Deco (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: So, who IS in the MDP?

(...) You're certainly not alone, Alexander, but I don't think it's a purposeful thing. It appears that perhaps some (or all?) yahoo e-mail accounts and some (or all?) gmail accounts are not able to receive the e-mails from Lego for some reason. (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Mos Eisley Junkshop

All in a good days work at the (URL) involves buying and selling vehicles/parts with no questions asked.   Re: I love toys - on VH1

Ahh cool, thanks, I was watching that the other night and had to leave before the program was over. I was curious about what place (not if) LEGO would come in at. Of course I was dragged away by many large amazonian women. The spirit is willing, the (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  TexLUG Austin meeting Sunday 3/12

All, The next Austin TexLUG meeting will be this Sunday, March 12. It's been a few months since we've gotten together, so come on out and show off what you've been working on! I'll be shortly announcing and posting rules for a line following and (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.org.us.texlug, lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus, lugnet.loc.us.tx)

  Timberwolf/Madcat

So I built this for a friend. I had a lot of fun with it and even though I have other favourite mechs, the Madcat still comes first to mind when I think of mechs. Enjoy the pics. (...) Yeah I'm kinda peeved that LEGO hasn't even sent me a bummer email. I received nothing and I have the confirmation that I applied so its not like htat don't have my email. What's up with that? I can accept I didn't make the cut but c'mon...I (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Announcing Brickvention 2006!

(...) Thanks for your comments Peter. We have no physical welcome mat planned, but unfortunately exhibition space in Melbourne does not come cheap. We have attempted to keep the costs to a minimum, and $50 is quite cheap for a 2 day convention. (...) (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.events, FTX)
