  Re: Pneumatic Questions

(...) This is a good question. When using traditional pressure only, the force producde by the air pressure on the faces of the pistons is enough to flip a switch. Just yesterday someone asked me "If instead of using pressure, you used vaccume" (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LDraw files for Large models/scenes?

(...) One possibility would be to make the 'background' town and render it with a spherical camera (angle 180,90 IIRC). This can be saved and then mapped onto the sky_sphere (or a smaller encompassing sphere) and used as the background for scenes. I (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: The importance of studs in holding storage shelves

(...) I volunteer to help you clean up. Fortunately I have a pickup and a bunch of Hefty bags... :) Same thing happened to me on a smaller scale a few months ago. That totally bites, especially after all the sorting you've been doing. Kelly (20 years ago, 17-Nov-05, to lugnet.storage, FTX)

The importance of studs in holding storage shelves

And I don't mean Lego studs - I mean wood studs... (2 URLs) My wife kindly took these pictures of me in my Lego room, after she removed what little Lego remained on the shelves, while I still held the remnants of the shelves.   Re: 2006...eccoli!

Pneumatic Questions

I am comtemplating the purchase of one of those one-way valves from the old pneumatic sets.   Re: New Exo-Force lego anime influenced minifigs and mechs!

Some interesting parts, but I'm "meh" on the designs I've seen so far. Not much variation between the mechs and I'll bet their flimsy as all get-out using the smallest click-hinges. New hairpieces and othere pieces too, so that's groovy! BTW, it (...) (20 years ago, 17-Nov-05, to lugnet.general)
