I was actually wondering how long it would be before someone built a globe. I
was thinking about doing a small one myself, or a decent size virtual one, but I
never got around to it. Did you consider doing more colors to create a 3-D
mosaic? Perhaps a more realistic color scheme with forest, desert, and
clouds...I suppose that would require some mapping on the computer instead of
freehand coloring.
Anyway, it looks great! Have you tested how well it rolls?
