  Re: FBTB Forums

(...) Howdy do, awesome guys and gals of LEGO! As of this morning, it seems as though the news ticker has been adjusted, so there’s no more flashing potty talk. :p Ahh, much better now! :) Yeah, the fans of FBTB.net have been dealt a pretty nasty (...)   Re: missing parts

(...) In the past year, I've purchased only about 6 sets, of which 2 have had one missing piece each. That's 1 set out of 3! Prior to this, I had never seen it happen at all... and I don't know HOW many dozens of sets I had bought previous to last (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Boxes and storage

Thanks. I just checked out the Maplin website and they also have sets of 45 little drawers for 15 Pounds. Who would have thought that drawers and boxes would go under tools. When I did a search for 'box' on the site it returned none of these but (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: missing parts

(...) This may not be a direct answer to your question, but I did have to pay for my latest replacement-part request. I took a gamble and picked up a 4483 AT-AT in a beat-up box, and unfortunately it was missing one of the bags (so I only had one (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Project Building and Sorting Table

(...) Matt Chiles ordered a case of the clear plastic mostly rectangular bins you often see packaged mushrooms in (I'm pretty sure I've seen other produce in them also). The bins are about 4"x5" or so (there are also larger bins). Another cheap (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.storage)

  Mathematical assistance please

Hi, I'm a much better arithmetician than mathemetician and have hit a wall with LSynth. In an attempt to reduce file size, I've written an algorithm that merges hose segments together (based on an angle error limit). This dramatically reduces file (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Changing camera location in LPub

(...) Thanks! When rendering single images (entire model), the camera globe coordinates affect the rendered results. When rendering building instructions, MLCAD's ROTSTEP meta command controls camera location (or model rotation. Who can tell the (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: missing parts

(...) They used to have really phenomenal quality control, but I think it's gone down in recent years. Every set I've ever had that was packaged before 1999 has been flawless.   Changing camera location in LPub

I just downloaded LPub 2.2.0.1 — what a great program! — and I was wondering why changing the latitude or longitude of the camera doesn't affect camera location in the renderings. Is there something I'm overlooking? Thanks! --Ryan (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: GR-Destroyer

(...) Thanks. The GR-D is 30 inches tall exactly. I don't know how much it weighs, but just mating the torso to the body during construction made me wish I had a gantry crane. It needs to cut back on the doughnuts. ;-) K (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)
