This may not be a direct answer to your question, but I did have to pay for my
latest replacement-part request. I took a gamble and picked up a 4483 AT-AT in
a beat-up box, and unfortunately it was missing one of the bags (so I only had
one side of all the wedge plates)! They sent me the parts together with a
letter asking for approx CDN$20 (which I haven't paid yet, but I will/should
since I really appreciate the service). This was probably half a year ago, and
I was really scared that they would send me the parts in the new grey
(fortunately, I got them in the old colour)!
This was only the second time I've used their service, although both of my
requests were for around 50-70 pieces. I'm not sure if they keep track of your
part-request history? If they did, I wonder if I could bring my S@H order
history to their attention - it's certainly much higher than the average
consumer...

| (...) They used to have really phenomenal quality control, but I think it's gone down in recent years. Every set I've ever had that was packaged before 1999 has been flawless. In fact, I remember talking about it with friends at school in 4th grade, (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)
