Hi Adrick I gave myself the 8538 Bionicle set for Christmas, so I think I can help. I believe you're talking about the arms/claws of the creatures. Basically, the 'fingers' on the dark grey liftarms (URL) supposed to interlock. Then, the axle with (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.technic)

I picked up a few of the Walmart buckets, but that seemed to be it. The Sears Clearance centre in Halifax had some Galidor (not as cheap as Zellers has them) and a large number of the large Mega Bloks castle set, 9890, for $50 (less 15% on current (...) Hello Adrick, Although I don't have set 8538 I do have some general advice based on my own experience putting together complicated technic sets. Wow, quite impressive! This is very well done. That is a lot of printed brick slopes pieces. This temple flows together very well. I've almost finished the rock to put my church on. It has 2 train tunnels, and a monorail tunnel. "the Rock" features a viewing platform, a monorail loop and station, a waterfall and small lake, a power station, and losts of bare rock. Plants have (...)
