  Re: I am appalled...

(...) That's another reason why they're cool. I used to play with action figures and wonder how they worked. Like, I had this dinosaur that lowered his head and opened his mouth when his knees were pushed together. Now with Throwbots and RoboRiders (...)   Re: I am appalled...

Somehow neither of these series appeal to me...maybe I'm just a bit too old (14). Although you're probably right about the fact that these are probably designed for younger builders, since my brother (who is 8) really enjoys the Throwbots. (24 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Mega Bloks set found in Mania magazine!!

(...) I also just noticed, your magazine is way bigger than mine! I have- pg 1- Cover pg 2- Details/advertisement on LEGO Studios pg 4- "Creating Special Effects" Studios comic pg 10- Helioraptor instructions pg 11- Helioraptor continued, LEGO (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO Company Welcomes Adult LEGO Enthusiasts

(...) I guess, because I attribute my newly re-acquired AFOL status to being able to get the sets I missed on eBay. Now that I can afford them, I'm glad that eBay exists, and that people still trade MISB kits. On the other hand, you're also right, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Mega Bloks set found in Mania magazine!!

(...) Where are you, Timothy? My copy features a 6-year old boy named David from Ontario proudly holding his authentic LEGO helicopter, definately an alternate model of <set:7131 Anakin's Podracer>. It's a brilliant little model, and deserves the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What's Left? (Classic)

(...) Not to beat a dead Bantha, but it was seen flying in the movie. The recent theater re-releases had T-16s flying above Mos Eisly (sp?) in addition to other craft (Dash Rendar's Outrider was briefly seen shooting across the sky as well.). Sure (...)   Mega Bloks set found in Mania magazine!!

Hello, In the Nov/Dec Mania magazine, on page 18, is the "You Can Build It" section. On this page is featured a "Helioraptor." In the picture of the boy who inspired the model, I noticed something about the model he is holding. It is definitely Mega (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: I am appalled...

(...) I would have thought so - remember that action figures are always very popular with kids, and I assume that ranges such as the Roborider are an attempt to capture a share of this market. Jennifer Clark (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: What's Left? (Classic)

(...) I realise that this is a film based list, but it is certainly possible that TLC will pursue the Expanded Universe of Star Wars if it continues to be profitable (it MAY have been there in the film stuff, like that droid transport thing-where (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: How do you view your LEGO collection?

(...) AAAAAAA!!! The only time that B even enters into the picture is when I buy a set somewhere and then find it drastically reduced somewhere else a month later. But that isn't because I view LEGO as an investment, just that I feel stupid for (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Castle 200?.........please.

(...) I've looked pretty closely at the available photos around the net, and I have to say that I do not think they will be compatable with minifigures. They appear to be connected through Tech series axle beams and pins. That means that while they (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.castle)

  2001 Cleveland Sighting

Target has all the new Star Wars sets (I picked up the AT-ST today), and the smallest 3 LoM sets. They may have had more LoM sets that sold, but I didn't see any price tags for them. I'm considering buying the $50 Podrace/Lightsaber Duel/Droid (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: Is this clear?

(...) From the final bid price, I would say no. For a non-AFOL seeing something headed 2 MISB train sets and then seeing two images of trains, they might be foolish enough to think that's the item. The bonus might be seen as the points set. For a (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.auction)
