  Re: 2001 Set info

(...) Exactly. What, precisely, is the point of telling us not to talk about it? The sets might get cancelled? The prices might change? I think anyone reading this information knows that might happen. Competitors might get the info? Uh, so? I'm sure (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: When we gonna BrikWar?

(...) You realize, of course, that I'll never be able to attend if you do these things on weekday evenings, and that would be sorely disappointing. But I guess if that's the way it's going to be... Adrian (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: TLG Does Listen to us. (if not officaly)

(...) Here's an Idea: Classic Space! Or how about this one: Town! Oh well, those are probably fantasy, but here's an interesting idea: How about a printed element (1x2) with a computer screen with the brickshelf logo on it? That would be neat. KL (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: 2001 Set info

Re: Where are the Neimoidians?... (SW:EpI villains)

Bit of curiosity. Huttese sounds identical to Attic Greek (pre-New Testament, that is pre-Koine). When I took Greek in college, the professor had a tape of a researcher who was trying to figure out how the inflection and rhythm would have sounded (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Harry Potter (Film) Set

(...) Ack! I just wanted to reassure other that what I was going to say wasn't a spoiler. I'm very sensitive to spoiler information of all stripes. In fact, I would advise anyone within the sound of this post to avoid the second half of the (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: When we gonna BrikWar?

(...) Timing is rather short, so I'll need your answer by tonight, Gino. 1) Did you get the room at the gaming store? Which gaming store is it? 2) Are we still going to do this, even with a mere 2 people? (Hey, I'm up for it.) That is it for (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.col)

Re: Hidden Technic Kits for 2000

Hi Sean, all the sets are shown in the latest german consumer catalog so we can be sure that they will appear this year. However, 8516 should have been released in June (like all other Roboriders) and no retailer was yet able to tell me anything (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: tubing

(...) Cool. That worked. I had to edit the MPD by hand, though, I could not just edit the matrix values in MLCad directly. I think I found an MLCad quirk though. With non unit scaling/rotation factors I found that I could not move the part in the (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

RE: Booth monitors and crowd control

I bought some twin sheets for Ross about 3 years ago when they were a S@H special. Last time I asked about sheets, they had none. (Wanted some for Kristen too.) That was about a year ago. They are not the best from an overall appearance/fun (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Harry Potter (Film) Set

I got books 1-4 in hardback by joining a book club - 6 books for $1-2 (plus shipping of about $10), and I have to buy 4 books over the next 2 years - of which I figure 2 will be Potter books 5 and 6. It should work out to less than paperback cost by (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Self-Centering extended coupler

Very nice design. No springs either! I will definitely try it. The slack action, as you mentioned, is a concern, but kudos to the design that allows you to push and still have the coupler pivot. "Christopher Masi" <cmasi@cmasi.chem.tulane.edu> wrote (...) (26 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)
