Bit of curiosity. Huttese sounds identical to Attic Greek (pre-New
Testament, that is pre-Koine). When I took Greek in college, the professor had
a tape of a researcher who was trying to figure out how the inflection and
rhythm would have sounded during the Attic period. The tape sounded just like
Huttese. I wouldn't be suprised if it was the inspiration for Huttese.
Heck, I'll have to rent the movie and listen carefully to what they say. I
wonder where my old Greek textbooks are? Does anybody know of online
transcripts of what Jabba and co. have to say?
