Hi Bob, I've attached a modified version of the Minerva program. It plays different sounds for each of the following events: 1. Moving forward : ascending arpeggio 2. Turning around : descending arpeggio 3. Found something to pick up : deedle-deedle (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

 | | Re: Another Sighting of those Large Spoked Wheels
I have a bunch of the 110-111-112-113-114 series of basic sets from the 1970's. The spoked wheels (as well as all but two of the big head people) did not come with the #114 set. So it looks like LEGO from other sets is mixed in here. Gary Istok (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.general)

(...) I too have had very few experiences of mis-shaped bricks/pieces. I have a very large collection, and only about 12 pieces are misshapen. Of these, 5 are from a 1957 set #700 (wooden box), and these 5 are more cosmetic blemishes than actually (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general)

 | | Re: LEGO 2x4's change throughout the ages...

Funny you should mention this. About 3 months ago I was searching for some black 2x4 bricks for a fellow builder. And I came across 11 different styles of this brick. 3 Cellulose Acetate brick varieties, and 8 ABS brick varieties. About 1/3 of these (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Yes - many of the 4291 red tubs had malformed red lattice fences in: there was a gap in the lattice at the same point on every malformed one that I got, so it was probably a mould problem. I had 4 or 5 out of 13 tubs with this problem, and I (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.general)
