  Re: What's your LEGO Specialty?

(...) My specialty would seem to be buying and sorting (and figuring out efficient ways to stack all the boxes which I haven't sorted yet because I'm too busy buying more...). Oh, and occaisional washing parties... When it comes to actual play, my (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What's your LEGO Specialty?

(...) Good point. From that aspect, beyond my apparent specialty in buying (which I do certainly enjoy, it has been a factor in just about every hobby I have ever participated in), another specialty would definitely be community building. I also (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Legomodular standards?

I will modify the doc to state it as a "random pattern" but I noticed a difference between the "splotchy" type and the "fissure" type. I built mine with the fissure type pattern, although sometimes it can look like black lightning. (Would that be (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

In thinking about the future of wild west possibilities, especially when combining WW with adventurers, the possibilities really are cool. The two time periods are the closest together of all the sets. You could set the time period towards the late (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.western)

  Indiana Jones

I'm sure many of you have already done this, but take Han Solo head from the new Skiff, put it on Johnny Thunder's body, and once you've got his hat on his head and a whip & pistol in his hands, you have one smashing looking Indiana Jones! Kevin (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Microfig scale (Was Re: future BRICK updated (sorta))

(...) Oh, hey, BTW -- if you got the idea for that particular scale from mine and Barbara's models, we got the idea from Greg Williams. You might want to give him credit, maybe even a link to his site. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Possible markdown at TRU on Mystic Mountain Time Lab

I asked the manager: "Are you ever going to sell those sets - you have enough to last till the 3rd coming of Christ." He said he was considering marking them half off. I told him that at half off of the $50, I would clean them all out. He said OK. (...) (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) No, don't say it: you are (searching for subtle euphemism) "passing" bricks? Oooooo, and you have to use a brick separator? Ouch. You are taking this Lego stuff too far! :-) Bruce (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Designation conflict

I think we could debate this for a *long* time and not change each other's minds. I will say however, that I can see where you are coming from, Stephen, even if I don't agree. 8) Heh, as for the banner, I'll get right on it. 8) Ben -- Ben Vaughan (...)   Time for BFC overhaul?

Now that MLCad is supporting BFC, should we begin overhauling the parts database to take advantage of this? I'd be interested in working on this for a while. What is the status of the meta-command discussion? How close are we to closure? -John Van (26 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  WW/Adv. cross-over (and a Tommy-Gun) -- was "Re: Future Wild West Possibilities"

Hi, y'all, How about having another meeting on Saturday, the 8th of April? (Saturdays are the best for me. (...) Did someone say CLASSIC DOORS?......... you'll be sorry you asked.... OK here's my take on them. I have about 300 of these (140 red, 120 white and 40 yellow).
