   Hi all, you will find more new 2001 images on the following website: www.1000steine.de ! It's obviously scans taken from the full german '2001-1' catalogue, but as there is still no "real" Technic in there, I'm sure the 2001-2 catalogue will bring (...)      (...) Looks like new figures which are slightly bigger than mini-figures, more realistic look and more joints. Take a look at (URL) like the arm can go straight and when seated the figure need a 2x3 space. Those sets are not attractive however. (...)      "Creator" figures look like a Technic figure at Fabuland scale. The theme matches the Mickey Mouse age group. And, aside from the new Belville it's the only thing that resembles real life?       Things have gone from bad to worse.More Juniorisation new lines that I think no one will buy at full price and no new proper town sets.If this continues in 2002 I may need to find another hobby Visu PS:Anyone interested in buying used Lego?(TFIC) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

      Would you people CHILL OUT??? We go through this every year - to avoid repeating the past yet again... THE FIRST CATALOG DOES NOT HOLD THE ENTIRE LINE FOR THE YEAR!!! LEGO Direct would be very interested in supplying train parts *right now*, to respond to explicit demand for the parts. That does not equate (...)      Where are these grey pieces you are talking about in 7311? It has 2 VERDIGRIS 1x2x1.3 half-round with 1x1 plates in it, but I don't see any grey.    Hello, all of our LEGO fans! Although you have found out some interested sets in LEGO year 2001 catalogue, it has brought for us a message! Did you find out the minifigure in theme Creator?      I think Lego will slowly raise the size of adult minifigures, so by the time Harry Potter comes out, they'll have the normal minifigs to use as children. I Pray not.     (...) Thanks Erik. For the sake of all you folks out there I hope they don't change the scale of LEGO again. Just remember from 1957-73 it was 1 door = 3 bricks high.    Erik, Yeah I guess most folks wouldn't remember the 50's (I have so few memories myself :-) , but the current window assortment just doesn't give AFOL's enough windows to build with.      I am getting a really good picture of those Minitalia windows... it's making my pupils dilate! So, I have the new white 2x1x2 to stack in different ways, but no white 1x3x4 door, only red.      I too thought the 375 castle was the last set with the 1x1x1 windows, but then I remembered that there was a parts pack (in the lugnet database) #836, which came out in 1982, and had the large modern (4 lights) door, the 70's 1x3x4 door, the modern (...)
