OH WOW!!! Wouldn't that be totally cool?! Like, there -are- those underground
caverns with drops of thousands of feet, right?! hoh - that's way creeper than
those silly train bridges ;-) And there ARE underground rivers. OOooo! And fish
with no eyes. all kinds of strange creatures.. (I can't believe how excited I am
by this). Could even steal Trains, eh? (^^) lol. excellent. "Hmm, 8-wide or
10-wide?" lol.
The thing that bums me out about Underground is: to make a fansaty scene that
feels realistic, you'd have to build a gigantic cavernous space for your models.
...well, that's not impossible, of course (think DaveE's Hoth). But it's pretty
daunting to me. Hey, it'd be cool to distinguish Underground at BrickFest by
making people peek into tiny holes to view your lit MOCs inside hollow,
striated, fossil-filled, magma-bottomed, earth chunks.
Ooo, Imagine the train shows with Underground MOCs -beneath- the trains!?
Hee-hee-heee. You guys could even begin a modular system, like the Space guys
do! And Towns beneath ground (minifigs need toilets). and terrorizing CHUDS.[1]
Futurama mutants like Lila(sp?). Underground Robotic civilizations, like in
Metropolis... hey, Han and Chewie -did- land inside an asteroid!
heh, heh. Now you've gone from a lowly little forgotten kinatheme (no offense)
to a massive Train-Town-Space-Robotics-Mecha-StarWars-BrikWars-Adventurers
chomping Mega-Theme! Mua-ha-ha-haaa
[gasp]
But what about Belville. Hm, I'll have to handle -that- one.
;-)
