(no not that kind of help) Hey all, I am currently planning a Lego train show in Winfield Illinois for dec.6-7th (see flyer: (URL)) and I have a problem. I have a 35ft x 35ft room to fill and no clue as to what to put in it. I had a layout for the (...) Well the whole NILTC club was very pleased ( and a few members surprised) to receive a visit by John Gerlach at our Thomas show today. He stayed for only a few hours but it was a real blast! I like the detail on the elevated train, including the traffic light hanging under the track. We had a working elevated train at one time, a simple Mindstorm system controlled it going back and forth. It was modeled after the local MARTA train line (...) Joel, I really loved your layout for the show! The building architecture was really very nice, but it's the little details I enjoyed the most: the billboard ads, the women in skirts, the gaggle of nuns, the cobblestone in the park, the mods on those (...) About the "Milwaukee Color", I've always seen similarities between Milwaukee and my other waterfront town built mostly in the 19th century, Troy. Since there is a monthly NILTC meet planned about the same time, we thought it best to combine the (...) Sweet model Joel! You may want to consider changing the way you connect the horizontal railings to uprights using pirate hook hands jammed into short pieces of technic tubing. I did this on the 2nd version of my SD-90 and you can compare to the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains.org.niltc)

Hi all, I have been hearing commercials on the radio for the "midwest's largest model railroad show" that is happening this weekend here in Milwaukee at the State fair grounds.
