Hi everybody -
The Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club had its second show last weekend, June
27-29, at the Train Collectors' Association National Convention.  The
convention was held at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL.

We had a wonderful reception from the crowds and from the other train
collectors.  All around this show was a wonderful experience.  Our layout
has grown since our first show earlier this year, and we have added three
new members' modules.

There were many inquiries into LEGO trains.  We ran out of the 500 Shop at
Home catalogs LEGO Direct sent on the third day of the show.  I believe we
may also have gained one or two new members from this event.

Here are pictures of the show:

(...) And remember kids, when you call S@H and order those Train kits, tell them you want them "ONDREW SIZED"!! Bigger is better! (especially on those tight curves) (22 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org.niltc, lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.us.il)
