I'm thinking it would be fun to add answers (ala Jeopardy, without the
questions) to the backs of our business cards. They might include:

More than 100,000, less than 500,000
About 3 months
16 people from 4 counties
At Target for $99
We don't work for LEGO
We don't work for LEGOLAND
Yes, we've been LEGOLAND
They do not give us bricks, but they do give us catalogs
It's not glued together
$100K and we will deliver and setup
It is not a set
Yeah, but for every brick we use, we had to buy 99 that aren't on the layout
We did not build it on site

One angry party this weekend wanted to know why we (LEGO, she assumed) put
plastic barriers around the display to keep her kids from playing with the
bricks. She thought it was a very poor thing for TLC to (entice people to
come and then keep them out).

No matter what, there are always people who alredy have the set for every
model on our layout.

My favorite remonstration this weekend: "Please do not touch the Please Do
Not Touch This Glass sign".

(...) Since several of you singled out this item, I should expand a little. Prior to our 6 week run at SDMRRM, the space we now use was occupied by a hands-on kid play area (not LEGO) and the musuem advertised our upcoming LTC layout. My best guess (...) PNLTC checking in... OMSI is a small show due to venue (and by choice) so the pics will be underwhelming compared to other BIG shows this weekend. All the same, we had lots of fun spreading the word... "Yes! Matter of fact since the 1960s." You all (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains.org)
