  Train widths
 
I'm designing a bridge that I'd like to later be able to convert to a rail bridge. I'd like to design for two 9V tracks but I don't know how wide people are building trains. Six or Eight? In other words, is it safe to lay two tracks touching (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

I have just been onto Reimann the German online toy store to see if they have the new trains - and noticed some strange numbers - they look like trains items - maybe they are duplo - maybe I'm making a fool of myself. What is 4167313 Offener (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jul-03, to lugnet.trains)

I have finished my Lego train show at Glenrothes. My layout was voted the second most interesting one by the visitors. I always enjoy speaking to the people, it's always a surprise to meet someone else who has Lego trains: I met one happy Busy Bee (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains)

Instead, I see myself using one or two in between pieces of straight track to get certain geometries. For public shows, I doubt we'll use this (...) Moving from 4.5v to 12v had 'added value' in providing better control, many new features such as electric points, crossings etc. but more than anything else, it was the new expanding range which provided the most promise. If there is no 'new (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains)
