(...) Hi Jeroen, as the others told already: you need it to fix geometry problems with odd angles. And with the straight-curve-strai.....-system, you can make up lots of new curve radius', with half straights. I would(*) even suggest quarter (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Large Red wheel turned into train wheels with Homemade sleave put on !
 
I've been looking at alot of the train pictures at the FGLTC site.On your custom made steam trains . For the drive wheels ,you have metal sleave put onto the Large red spoked wheel.I like this idea,for the drive wheels on your steam trains.They look (...) (...) DN121's. (...) I'm using the light outputs as functions. I'm _not_ going to come out and say that it is a good idea...the F outputs are rated at 125mA, whereas a stalled lego motor draws ~650mA. So, there IS a risk of burning out the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Rip off of Playmobil?
 
While thinking about Playmobil vs. Lego trains I took another look at the Playmobil catalogue and I was rather startled. Take a look at.... (URL) then compare it to... (URL) a rip off!! [1] I hadn't noticed the similarity before. I'm assuming that (...) (26 years ago, 6-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)
