Yes it will, but only if its exactly 8 wide.  NO overhang.  My six wides have
railings tacked on the outside and they just squeeze through. I also found You
have to have at least two straights in front on either door or the train clips
the door frame.  Not sure if this is true of the original or not.  I parted
folded mine into my collection already so I can't test it myself.

The original REALLY doesn't accept 8-wides.  Of course, like yours, it accepts
the 6-wides with railings, etc, but a true 8-wide...
