Re: End of 9V train line?!

But I believe the RCX-story is the reason why Lego has problems now, in Austria the RCX-sets are sold very good, but they are not used by the children, but by theire parents! So it could imagine that the target-group of people are adults in this (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Need some help with some Train specs

I wanted to say we don't "kit-bash" but "scratch" build, but I have seen modified Metroliners, Train Stations.... so, we do both! As for guage, I tell the story that "L" guage was determined by the original LEGO wheel set back in the 1960's. The (...) (24 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I can include some (2 or 3) controllers, without the 9V wall wart. I have 2 110 ones which I am using the plugins for Mindstorms, and a Euro one (no different, same wall wart connection).   Cleaning 9V track

I recently unpacked some of my 9V track I had in storage and noticed that some of the track has little orange specks on it. It looked like rust. Has anyone ever seen this on their track?   Lego Cog Train

Hey all, first time poster. I got an uncontrollable urge the other day to build myself a Lego Cog Train. I have done this using a 9v train engine, and a 9v motor attached to the train engine. Things are going along fairly smoothly in my mind. Does (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)
