My favorite is whatever I just finished designing myself. I'm a better
designer (for the adult market) than LEGO are. But then I don't have the
same constraints they do and I'm not nearly as constrained by piece
count as they are...
Currently I'm rather high on our Shinkasen.
But if you're talking something TLG designed, I think I'd have to go
with 4549. Either that or 4551 because it's cute and because it's
articulated in a well thought out way, unlike say 4559.
Bet you thought I was gonna say 4558, didn't you? Ya, that's a nice set
all right but containers are where the action is at in real railroading
these days.

| Greetings: I realize this is a simplistic question but what is your favorite Lego Train set? I am mostly a Lego Castle and Pirate collector but I was looking to get into Lego Trains. I have noticed a few train sets that look good but I was not sure. (...) (25 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)
