I just had a random thought as to how TLC could give us some capability to
run multiple trains without having to go the whole DCC route. Give us a new
train motor which has an IR pickup, and a switch to set it to respond to the
A, B, or C motor controls on the RCX remote! The motor of course would get
power from the track (and could have an auxiliary power output for lighting
headlights etc. The IR sensor should be in a little 2x2 brick with wire so
that it can be built into the roof.
