I received two switching pieces in a recent eBay auction. They were severely damaged by sand and dirt which virtually made the switch un-switchable. In fact there were signs of damage where the sled was unable to move the switching pin and caused (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.trains)

Hi folks! I got a scan of a newspaper concerning a 51 years old Lego fan, who has built a whole town in his subterrain rooms. I'm only aware of red, yellow, and white. From memory and the set database at lugnet/inv, the large sliding doors came in the following: red: 2 in 740 Building Set (also includes red/yellow train doors and yellow train windows!) 2 in 5077 Parts Pack (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.trains)
