Hi All, I just finally realized to ask Jake how did something like the Santa Fe (engine and car set) and the BNSF ever get made as sets at LEGO? Humbly he told me. Over time (say the last 4 years) Jake has been "suggesting" ideas to the LEGO Direct (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !!

The unit in question comes from a tech-transfer with adtranz, and the first three indigenously built locos are named. I've put a 'Navjagran' decal (...) Your post made go and do some Indian railway research! Indian loco type nomenclature is a bit difficult to remember, its all WDM-1a's etc (note, I'm not sure if that one really exists!) Chris, Thanks for asking these questions. I think this has been discussed before, but it is always good to rehash this at least for the .trainheads! OK, so I made a trolley go back and forth using NQC and my RCX. My wife's response to this was, "I that why you wanted a Mindstorms set?" (...) True, I should also mention that most sign shops carry a wide selection of vinyl decal sheet. This stuff is thinner then electrical tape, and has less shinkage. I've also used liner tape.
