Re: 4 new MOCs: Ford Econoline, an SUV, Lincoln Towncar, Minivan

(...) Hi Sean, These two are my favorite. The town car really looks right and I like the van as well. I really like the inclusion of graffiti...it adds realism. How did you do it? A clear label and permanent marker? Have you thought about a front (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: City blocks

(...) How too small? Nothing prevents people from building modules, which correspond to a multiple of 32×32 plates, as long as the edges correspond to whatever connection rules we decide on. Play well, Jacob -- City X'ers truck (building (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: City blocks

  Re: City blocks

(...) If I am following this right, standard block 2 x 3, add roads on 2, 3 or 4 sides depending on placement in block group. If you fill the block, then attachment to other buildings would be self contained on your block. Sidewalks would be on road (...) (22 years ago, 25-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

4 new MOCs: Ford Econoline, an SUV, Lincoln Towncar, Minivan

All: Hey there. Courtesy of Jonathan Lopes, I've got a bagful of new windshields and have started cranking out new cars for my city. An SUV, modeled after a Ford Escape or Nissan Exterra type of SUV. I'm especially proud of the door-handles on this (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town) !

Jacob Sparre Andersen wrote in message ... (...) Jacob, what's your thinking on having the sidewalk be part of the building module? My preference would be to have the sidewalk separate (as part of the road plate) but I'm interested in your reasons. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: City blocks

(...) Certainly. (...) I think one of the important points for the success of the moon base module specification is that a standard module is small enough, to allow almost anybody with a few space sets to participate. If a corresponding city module (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: City blocks

(...) Ok... now the fun part is we still need to come up a good standard for connecting buildings....:-) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: BrickTopia Luxury Apartments

(...) Thanks, There are only 2. Due to the large size and high ceilling of each unit, there really isn't space for a large number of apartments. You can see the entire back view here: (URL) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Thanks - I actually didn't put that much thought into the use of specific figures. I chose them for their looks and size. I just happened to have 2 C3P0's handy for use in the bedroom. (22 years ago, 23-Sep-02, to lugnet.town)
