(...) Thanks! The red parts are 2x2x2 slopes (minifig dresses). You have to drop them down one plate lower than the tie-fighter piece which will produce a slight gap along the angle but it's ignoble. (...) Thanks very much! Waht isn't really evident in the pic's is that the brown band you mention is comprised of log bricks with the 1x side facing out, so in the actual model it isn't that overbearing. (IMO). Now that you mention it, I don't know (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.town)
