OK, who's up for driving their models with a mini 12V sealed lead acid
battery? :-) The only problem I could see with these (over than the • obvious)
is that at full charge I believe they are higher than 12V.

I tried it :-)
I ran an old 4.5 round motor out of a 12 lead acid battery, in a sort of
tracked tank.
With the battery that weights something like 2 Kg, I had to reduce _a lot_
in order to have it just move.
I think to remeber at least 1:625.
Sure it was poorly designed and it did a lot of noise, while moving very
slow :-)

But the motor didn't suffered any visible damage or efficiency loss from
then.
