Seems like a great answer, "I don't know".

Of course Technic needs LD's help. If they've been successful in offering
bulk bricks, why not try it with Technic parts. I'd love to see bulk black
1x16 beams, for example. I'm sure I'm not the only one that does not want to
fork out $30 US for an "accessory pack" just to get 1 pneumatic cylinder.
