  Re: Broken 8448 Shocks

(...) I did this a few weeks ago myself. Just call Lego Shop @ Home and they will transfer you over to customer service and they will send you the replacement shocks for free. The number for Shop@Home is 1-800-835-4386. Keith Blumenthal (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

  Re: Broken 8448 Shocks

(...) What is the phone number (I'm in the US) to call? I am surprised that Lego doesn't seem to have a customer support e-mail address, and I can't even find an appropriate phone number. I found the damper parts broken on my Supercar just recently, (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.general)

Old & New Motors: work output comparison???

It's CRANE TIME ast Elwood & Bubbas' workshop. After a two year - hiatus, E & B are back at the drawing board, hard at work on their biggest crane ever. My quest is for performance measures of the old & new Lego motors: which one produces more work (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Broken 8448 Shocks

One if mine broke. I called Lego and they happily replaced it, free shipping. I was surprised that the rep knew exactly what I was talking about--she went ahead and sent me two new ones, instead of just the one that broke. I realize now that it is a (...) (...) I'm completely with you for the newly introduced parts. But the majority of the recent technic sets does not feel right, when looking them as "models" rather than part packs. Actually, I always consider the sets as part packs, and I only (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Two original Technic creations

(...) Ah, I was kinda secretly hoping that there was another source of dark grey hubs. I really like them, but I do't see myself picking up three Millenium Slizers! The rest of the parts on them are not too interesting. I was also reading your (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic)

That figures; I pointed out to Jennifer that her designs were good enough that I would've bought them, and that I had only seen one other person achieved a similar level of design; combining form and function to a level rivalling TLC's best.
